In the early morning of the day 30/5/08 our little apartment was filled with laughter, chattering with noises of happiness from stay over good friends, relatives, photographer, make-up artis.Then there was the cake delivery, setting up tables of food and drinks, chairs , fan and so on.

Although l was busy, my heart had this mix feeling......kind of reluctant to let my daughter go and at the same time feeling happy for her to have found herself a wonderful husband, as the time drew nearer to putting on her veil(is a tradition for the parent to put on the veil for the bride)my heart beat faster, and suddently I heard the make-up artis calling out for me, and...... l headed for the kitchen and start crying, l don't even know is it tears of joy or tears of reluctance....anyway... l managed to stop and hold my tears till l put on her veil gave her a hug, didn't want to spoil her make-up.

The groom came with a group of his friends, "WHY, a group of his friends?" some may ask, well.... to give him a helping hand incase the bride's girlfriends gave him a hard time in trying to get into the apartment.........

After he came in and took the hand of the bride the programme was followed by praying and "thankyou" for a good marriage...........followed by the tea ceremony, the groom and the bride will serve tea for the seniors relatives and the younger cousins will serve tea to the groom and bride, gifts of blessing are given to the new couple. Next................on the way to the groom's house.

It is a tradition for the bride and the groom to have "a hair combing ceremony" on the eve of their wedding day in their own respective parent's home at the same time, normally hair combing ceremony is done by the respective parent.

Before the ceremony starts, preparations have to be made with "well wishes" stuff as shown in the photo, "Tang Yuen" plays a very important role in the ceremony, to be swallowed whole without bitting, is a believe that the newly weds will stick together forever just like the Tang Yuen sticking together in the stomach.

l did the hair combing ceremony for my daughter, 3 well wishes must be said as l comb, after combing the bride will swallow the Tang Yuen, angpow is given to the bride for a happy marriage and the hair combing ceremony is done.

The wedding is getting near so......... all the final preparations like cake and card distributing, gift exchanging,and most of all to make myself beautiful.....haha. So "Kor Tai Lei" was on the 10/5/08, for those who are not sure what it is, 'Kor Tai Lei' is the exchanging gifts between the bride and groom, and both the respective "in-laws"......... it was beautiful and colourful, let me show you some of the pictures: Gifts from the bride and her mother......

the "Si Ping" was very pretty and tasty.

For those who are not sure what 'si ping' is, it's the wedding biscuit given by the groom for the bride to give to her friends and relatives to inform them that she is getting married.

We have fun looking and admiring those beautiful wrapping and the biscuit it the talk of the ceremony, "Pretty and Tasty".

l have been wanting to write something about a stray dog that l named her "Bobby".......... sounds like a male dog isn't it? She has a pair of brown eyes with big ears, long legs with a patch of white spots at the front legs that looks like a pair of socks! Anyway Bobby is a very passionate and friendly, who has a cat as her best friend, which l name Kitty, Bobby sleeps and play with Kitty, even bring food for Kitty, she'll wait for Kitty to eat first and pick up the balance for herself, is really cute and is the first time l have seen such a passionate act. The only photo that l manage to snap is when both of them are sleeping, everytime l hold the camera when they are playing, they just stop and sit there. Well, if cats and dogs can be friends l m sure we can have 'WORLD PEACE'

l did it again.........in Kluang recently we have facing alot of water meter thieft, few days ago somewhere near my house a row of meters were stolen, took some pictures and emailed to 'The Star" newspaper to try my luck.....and l did it again.......l won myself rm50.00.

Sometime ago, can't remember when and l lost that photo, maybe some of my friends will remember this, a small plane crashed ........... by the prince of Johor near my house, l won rm50.00 for that photo too.

l have been real busy lately because my previous maid left as her contract was over and the "new" one just arrived, that means...... l need to teach this "new" one all over again! sometime"s my blood pressure shoots up real high(you know what l mean?), having to repeat over and over again what l taught............ especially how vegetable should be cut, so instead, l took photos and had it printed on A4 using 'microsoft' and laminated them, to my suprise it is so much easier, l just tell her to go see the picture......hahaha......should have done it this way long time ago, this is some of my "brain wave".....hahaha......What you think????????
